Where else could a Mo-On-the-Go kit be helpful when bringing the kids this time of year? The Beach of course! Who we partnered with
Union Square Play, co-founded by Anthony Rudolf, Sandra Di Capua, and Jennie Monness, offers engaging classes in NYC and a supportive online and offline parenting community. Union Square Play believes that community and thoughtful engagement are critical to kids and parents thriving. Jennie Monness is also the creator of Mo’ Mommies. She studied Psychology in Education and received her Master’s Degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. She started her career as an early childhood teacher for two and three-year-olds and then became an Educational Director of a preschool for approximately 8 years before becoming the Center Director of Explore + Discover Early Learning Center.
Marissa and Jennie were introduced via a mutual friend and immediately thought of the idea to collaborate on a product that would engage and inspire kids' imaginations. Combined with Jennie's background in early childhood education and creative approach to open-ended activities, and Marissa's background in product design and experience of being "on-the-go" with her two sets of twins, the two came up with this unique, one of a kind kit. After months of brainstorming and testing, Mo-On-The-Go was born and we're so excited to get it into the hands of little ones, making "on-the-go" just a bit easier for grownups!
