Welcome to our new Rafi Reps Series! A weekly series where we feature some of our favorite customers and ask them questions about life, travel and more.

This week we have Wendy Short Carlton, a mom of five and one of our favorite members in our Rafi Nova Everyday Adventure Society.

"While we were originally drawn to the company for their masks, I LOVE the voyager backpack. It is so well made and comes along on all of our family adventures!"

Tell us a little about yourself?

I’m a mom of five kids ranging from 5 months to 10 years old. We moved to New England from Alabama in 2016. We love it here! My background is in marriage and family therapy, but I have shifted my focus a little since my fourth was born in 2018. I’ve been focusing more time and energy on photography and capturing all of our adventures on camera!
How did you learn about Rafi Nova?
Through a mutual friend reaching out (Megan) and asking if I’d be interested in a Rafi Nova collaboration.
What is your favorite Rafi Nova product?
While we were originally drawn to the company for their masks, I LOVE the voyager backpack. It is so well made and comes along on all of our family adventures!
How many kids do you have?
5
What is their favorite Rafi Nova product?
This one is so hard to answer! They love the quality of the masks and all of the fun designs. My 3 and 6 year old really enjoy using the belly packs for our hikes. They can now carry all of their treasures they find along the way! My older two really like the adventure mats. They make sure they’re included on our beach trips so they can set up their own areas for reading and relaxing.

What is your favorite thing about Rafi Nova?
I love Rafi Nova’s focus on family and encouraging adventure and fun. Their focus on high quality items makes me feel confident when traveling with everyone!

What would be the first family adventure for your family?
Winter in New England feels like it has dragged on forever. And this time, I would say anywhere with warm sandy beaches! Though, I’ve wanted to head back to Germany again!

Where are you traveling next?
My husband and I are talking about taking some time this summer to do a tour of the east coast. We travel to Alabama every summer to see our families and these would be great additions to our drive!
